Shield parted per fess; above Argent a pale Gules charged with a fleur-de-lis Argent, at dexter a sinister facing demi-donkey forcene Sable, at sinister a kettle Gules with handle; beneath Azure three balls Or ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The municipality was established in 1978 by a merger of Haldenwang proper, Eichenhofen, Hafenhofen and Konzenberg. The balls are taken from the arms of the Barons of Freiberg, who had been local rulers in the village since 1525 and built a castle. The donkey is a differentiation of the arms of the Barons of Riedheim. The family acquired castle and village of Eichenhofen and remained local ruler until 1803, when the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved. The fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the Paumgartner family and is representing Konzenberg. The tinctures red and silver are those of the Bishopric of Augsburg, to which the whole municipality historically belonged. The kettle (Bavarian: Hafen) is representing Hafenhofen and canting. It could be found on seals of the Lords of Hafenhofen since the 13th century.
