Shield Azure a crozier Or in pale superimposing an axe Argent and a hayfork Argent in saltire.
Meaning:
Axe and fork are symbolising agriculture. The crozier is alluding to the Ettal Abbey, the widespread farms of Apfelbichel, Aschau, Braunau and Plaicken, in German called "Schwaighöfe" belonged to the court district of the abbey until 1803. According to a photo of M. Schmöger the blue shade of the sheet is darker than that one of the arms.
