Shield Azure with base wavy Argent, an impending watermill wheel Argent.
Meaning:
Water power was very important for the local business lines. Water power ran sawmills and plaster stone beaters. The production of plaster stone had been an important supraregional business line.The plaster was needed especially in the capital München. The tinctures are those of Bayern. They are also referring to the close relationships to the Ettal Abbey.
