There is also a logo banner for every-day-use, based on the municipal logo, displaying belfry of the local church in beige and two shades of blue on top of a beige silhouette. Beneath is a blue inscription "EMPTINGEN" (vertical on banner) and the "I" is replaced by three beige little rectangles.

Shield Sable with bordure Or, a reversed anchor Or.
Meaning:
Empfingen had been the capital of the Lordship of Wehrstein, which had been ruled by the Counts of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen from the 16th century until 1806 as an Austrian fiefdom. The municipal arms are those of the Barons of Wehrstein, whose castle above nearby Fischingen had been seat from 1101 until 1395.

The arms were adopted by the municipality in May 1948 and approved on 27 October 1950 by Minister of Interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern. The banner was approved on 6 May 1988 by the county administration, published in GABl 688/1988.
