Shield Vert, a spa Argent pouring water of the same, shield mantled Argent, at dexter charged with an eradicated fir Vert stemmed Sable, at sinister charged with a wolf rampant sable, armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
On 1 July 1974 Bad Rippoldsau and Schapbach merged. The mineral spas of Rippoldsau are known since the 16th century. In 1933 Rippoldsau gained the prefix "Bad" (= spa). Schapbach is a climatic spa. The pattern is considered to be canting and is alluding to the location in the central Black Forest and the economic importance of tourism, spa and wood.
