Zolling Coat of Arms

Shield Or with base wavy Azure, issuant from base a wooden bridge Gules with two guardrails lozengy of Argent and Azure, under the bridge an impending head of a negro Sable crowned and collared Gules with earring Or.
Meaning:
The bridge is symbolising the crossing over the Amper River. A wooden bridge already existed in the Medieval. The head is reminding on the Bishopric of Freising, to which Zolling was donated in 747 by Moabertus and his wife Totana. The local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) was dissolved by secularisation in 1803. The lozengy guardrail is alluding to the Wittelsbach kin and is representing those parts of the current municipality, which belonged to the Siechendorf district (Bavarian: Obmannschaft) of the Electorate of Bayern.

The banner was approved on 16 August 1985 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberbayern. The arms were approved on 6 March 1967 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
