It is a banner lozengy of white and blue. The coat of arms is shifted towards the top. Under the shield is a white square with black, centred inscription: "GEMEINDE"(1st line) "HAAG A.D. AMPER" (2nd line).

Shield Gules parted by an abased bend wavy Argent, a lion rampant guardant Argent.
Meaning:
The bend wavy is a representation of the Amper River. The lion is taken from the family arms of the Counts of Lodron, who owned the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1630 and 1812.

The banner was adopted in 1952 by the local council but was never approved officially. The arms were approved on 13 December 1977 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberbayern.
