Shield parted per fess, above Argent a grapevine Azure stemmed Sable and leafed Vert, beneath Gules a chalice Or.
Meaning:
Ballrechten and Dottingen had been united in a single bailiwick since 1602, which had been a Badenian fiefdom, administrated by the Lords of Staufen. Both municipalities merged on 1 January 1971. Ballrechten used seals in the 19th century and arms since 1901, already displaying a vine plant as a symbol of the local viticulture, which existed since the 9th century. The chalice is taken from the arms of Dottingen (since 1900) and had before been part of the family arms of the Lords of Staufen.

Flag and arms were approved on 27 November 1972 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 1084/1973.
