Shield Argent, above a mitre Gules, beneath a lion passant guardant Sable tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The mitre is stressing the close relationships between the Archbishopric of Bamberg and the village. The lion is the heraldic animal of the Lords of Hohenlohe-Brauneck and is also representing the different liege lords of the village. The tinctures red and white are also alluding to the archbishopric.
