Leutenbach Coat of Arms

Shield Or parted by a bend sinister wavy Azure, in dexter chief a lance Sable with a flag sheat Gules charged with six 6-point stars Or ordered 3:3, in sinister base an embattled wall Sable masoned Or.
Meaning:
Leutenbach was established in 1978 by a merger of the municipalities of Dietzhof, Leutenbach, Mittelehrenbach, Oberehrenbach, Ortspitz and Seidmar. The embattled wall is reminding on the Lords of Ludunbach, local rulers and name givers of the municipality between 1079 and 1203. In the municipality there is a chapel dedicated to St. Maurice. The chapel is surrounded by a fortified graveyard. Lance and flag sheat are attributes of the saint. The six stars are representing the six merging former municipalities. The bend wavy is symbolising the Ehrenbach, a local creek, crossing the municipality from South to North.
