Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above in a blue field is a silver (= white) "T", probably a St.Anthony cross. Below in a silver (= white) field is a plain red inescutcheon superimposed by a blue label with five flaps.
Meaning:
According to source the Cross above is taken from the old arms of Hellenthal, label and inescutcheon are a modification of the arms of Counts of Salm-Reifferscheid, who played an important role in the area.
