In a golden (= yellow) shield is a blue annulet, divided by a blue bar. The upper half is divided by a blue pale.
Meaning:
On 1 January 1975 the municipalities of Echterdingen, Leinfelden, Musberg and Stetten auf den Fildern merged. All shields except that one of Leinfelden had been golden. The charge is a stylized bushel, representing Echterdingen. The blue colour before had been the colour of the shield of Leinfelden.
