Shield Or divided by a pale Gules charged with a fish Argent (= light grey); at dexter a lion rampant double queued Sable, crowned, armed and tongued Gules; at sinister a bust of an ibex Sable; over all in base a fess wavy Azure.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is symbolising Eckenbach creek, the name giver of the new municipality. Lion and fish are alluding to the Muffel family, a member of the gentry of Nürnberg in the past. They are also representing the former market town of Eschenau. The ibex is alluding to the Gotzmann family and their connection with the village of Forth. This family and other families of the local nobility were entitled to administer the law on an inferior level.

Banner and arms were approved on 25 April 1975 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Mittelfranken.
