Shield Vert, issuant from base a triplemount Gules, issuant from mount two barley ears Or in saltire, in centre superimposed by an inescutcheaon Argent, parted by a cross Sable.
Meaning:
The inescutcheon is representing the Teutonic Order, being the most important manorial lord since 1283, and also having the local cognisance and the right of patronage of the local church. The triplemount is representing the Adlerberg, a local mountain. The barley ears are symbolising the rural character.
