It is a yellow-green-yellow horizontal triband with ratio of stripes approx. 1:10:1. The coat of arms is shifted to the hoist within the green stripe.

Shield Or, a bunch of five bulrushes Sable leafed Vert.
Meaning:
The number of bulrushes is representing the five municipalities belonging to Rehden.

According to §2(2) of their local Hauptsatzungen the following municipalities have no proper flag:
Dickel (26 November 2013), Hemsloh (19 December 2013), Rehden (16 December 2013) and Wetschen (27 December 2013).

It is a yellow flag with green edges at the top and bottom edge. The coat of arms is in the yellow stripe.

Shield Vert, a bar wavy Or, above an oak branch Or with three leaves and two acorns, beneath a millstone Or.
Meaning:
The bar wavy is symbolising the many streams and rivers in the municipality. The mill stone is used as a symbol for the agricultural character of the area. The oak leaves are symbolising the different villages in the municipality.
The arms were approved on 15 April 1993.
