Shield Argent a bend Sable, charged with three 6-point stars Or, bordure 16 times parted of Gules and Argent.
Meaning:
The bordure is taken from the arms of the Zollern kin and symbolises that the municipality nearly completely belonged to the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Bayreuth. Bend and stars are taken from the arms of the Lords of Lindenfels, who had been in charge of the low level cognisance.
