Shield parted per fess, above Argent three eradicated firs Vert in fess, beneath Azure a glass chalice Argent between two miner's hammers Argent in saltire.
Meaning:
The tinctures white and blue are those of the Oberpfalz (Upper Palatinate), to which the village historically belonged, before it became a part of Oberfranken in 1857. The chalice is alluding to the production of mirrors and later of luxury glasses by the expelled people of Gablonz. The hammers are representing ore mining, connected with foundry and smelting from 1602 until the 19th century, and since then the depletion of granite. The firs are canting and alluding to densely wooded countryside.
