Shield Gules with chief Argent, two bars dancetty Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are a simplified version of the family arms of the Lords of Bubenhofen, who owned from the 14th until the 16th century an estate and also the inferior and superior cognisance. A chief was added to the family arms, charged with the antler of Württemberg. As the municipality had not been part of Old-Württemberg, the antler was omitted in the 1930ies. The white chief over a red field is also alluding to the Counts of Hohenberg, former local rulers of Binsdorf and Erlaheim. Geislingen gained the rank of a city on 1 January 1975.

The arms were approved in 1927. The banner was approved on 24 May 1982 by the county administration, published in GABl 560/1983.
