Shield quartered of Argent and Gules, the 2nd and 3rd quarter charged with a cross patty Argent, over all a bend chequered of Argent and Gules.
Meaning:
The arms are based on those of the Heggbach Monastery of Cistercian nuns. The bend is also called a Cistercian bend. The colours were improved in 1957 due to heraldic rules. The 1st and 4th quarter had been blue before.

The (former) arms were adopted by the municipality on 6 February 1931. The banner was approved on 10 February 1981 by Biberach county administration, published in GABl 351/1982.
