Description of banner:
It is a white - red vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (= white) shield on a green base stands a red house. The base is superimposed by a silver (= white) coulter.
Meaning:
The house, which appeared on municipal seals for more than 100 years is considered tob e a canting element. The coulter is a distinguishing mark, which had been added to the arms in 1938. It is however known as a local symbol since 1683.

Banner and coat of arms were approved/confirmed on 31 July 1959 by minister of interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 591/1959. The banner should however be red - white.
