Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield is a black demi-wolf, armed and tongued red. The shield has a black base, superimposed by a white, symmetric worm.
Meaning:
The wolf is taken from the arms of the Swigger family, who had been part of the local gentry. The worm is symbolizing the little river Würm, which has its fountain in Altdorf.
