Shield parted per fess, above Argent a demi-eagle issuant Gules, beneath Gules a baton Argent in pale with a sinister facing barbed hook and flanked by two fleur-de-lis of the same.
Meaning:
The tinctures red and silver are taken from the arms of the Freudenberg family, who played an important role as Lords of Rupprechtstein since the Medieval. Until the 19th century they had the right to appoint the local parish priest. The issuant eagle is taken from the arms of the Stewards of Holnstein, who owned the namesake district (Bavarian: Hofmark). Baton and hook are referring to the Rupprechtstein kin, the fleur-de-lis are representing the Baumgarten kin and the Barons of Stromer, two families, who ruled the Holnstein district in the 18th century.
