It is a blue-white-blue vertical triband. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Renaissance shield Azure, parted by an abased fess wavy Argent, superimposing two bulrushes Or with spadices Sable in flanches and superimposed by a grain ear Or.
Meaning:
The bulrushes are canting, as the name of the municipality is derived from Rusch, i.e. a bulrush. The bar wavy is rpresenting the Querbach, a creek crossing the local swamps. The grain ear is symbolising agriculture as main business line.
