Hollenbach Coat of Arms

Shield twice parted per fess, in chief Gules a key Argent and a sword Argent in saltire, in centre Argent two annulets Azure in fess, in base Azure an annulet Argent.
Meaning:
The tinctures red and silver are those of the Cistercian fess and are reminding on the close relationships between the village and the Cistercian Fürstenfeld Monastery. Bishop Hartmann of Augsburg granted all rights in question of the local parish church to the monastery, which kept these rights until 1803. Key and sword are the attributes of St. Peter and St. Paul, the local patron saints.The annulets are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Hügenhausen, local ruler in nowadays Igenhausen until the 14th century. The tinctures silver and blue are those of the Wittelsbach kin.
