Shield Gules a lion passant double queued Or crowned Azure, chief barry of four of Gules and Or, base Argent dancetty.
Meaning:
Krombach had been seat of a district court. The Counts of Rieneck, represented by the barry chief, owned major estates in the area. In 1559 the village was acquired by the Archbishopric of Mainz, represented by the base dancetty, displaying a Franconian rake and the tinctures red and white. The Counts of Schönborn, represented by the lion, gained control over the court in 1666.
