I have adapted the deer's antlers after a coat of arms at ERB's
site.
Blas Delgado Ortiz, 30 Aug 2001
The village Chotěšov is situated on the River Radbuza in the lowland,
about 18 km southwest from Pilsen. Together with contiguous villages Mantov,
Losina, Týnec and Hoříkovice it covers an area of about 2 681 hectares
and its population is 2595 people (1.1.2001). The first written mention
of the village was in 1115. It became important after the foundation of
the Convent. The further development came after the opening of the coal
exploitation and setting up the railway.
The village has its own sign, the blue-gold divided plate, on the upper
part there is a silver eight-pointed star on a blue background. On the
lower part there are three pairs (2+1) of black stag antlers on the gold
background.
