Sedlnice municipality flag

Sedlnice is another municipality in Novy Jicin district, Moravosilesian region in Eastern Czechia. The flag is depicted in Petr Exner's Vexilologický Lexikon prapory obcí ČR 1998; Flag adopted 4 Jun 1998. The coat of arms is on this website - red with a white triangle from base to top, charged with the old symbol of a bow and arrow (according to some derived from the "tamga's" of the Sarmatians).
The flag is red, with a hoist-triangle reaching the fly, charged with a bow and arrow.
In good Czechian:
"znak a prapor schválil Parlament Ceské republiky dne 18. cervna 1998 pridelením dekretu. Tomuto výsledku predcházelo projednání nekolika variant návrhu, z nichž zastupitelstvo vetšinou hlasu prijalo tento návrh - zavinutou strelu. Obecní znak má v cerveném štíte na stríbrném hrotu cervenou zavinutou strelu. Obecní prapor tvorí cervený list s bílým žerdovým klínem s vrcholem na vlajícím okraji, v žerdové cásti s cervenou zavinutou strelou hrotem vzhuru. Pomer šírky k délce listu je 2:3.
Jakou návaznost mají symboly k historii obce - "Zavinutá strela" byla prevzata z erbu pánu Sedlnických z Choltic, kterí meli Sedlnice v držení okolo 200 let, byli ceského puvodu a název "Sedlnictí" privzali jako prídomek ke svému jménu. Navíc v místním kostele je historická památka na tuto šlechtu, náhrobní deska Jana Sedlnického z Choltic a jeho ženy Johanky z Limberka."
