"Znakem obce Obrnice je ve stríbrném štítu modrý ondrejský kríž
a nad ním modrý vinný hrozen, z nehož vyrustají tri zelené vinné listy.
Ondrejský kríž svými rameny symbolizuje "križovatku" dvou historických
železnicních tratí, jejichž výstavba zpusobila rozvoj obce. Vinný hrozen
ukazuje k nejstaršímu známému držiteli obce, k cisterciáckému klášteru
v Oseku, který v okolí obce mel vinice. Obyvatelstvu Obrnic je všeobecne
známý pomístní název "Na vinici", který oznacuje lokalitu, kde klášterní
vinice bývaly. Tri zelené vinné listy symbolizují tri obce pod jednou samosprávou
se sídlem v Obrnicích.
