A photo of the flag of Hukvaldy is at this
page (with some big images), the bottom of the flag consists of the
spikes, as in the coat of arms at the homepage. Hukvaldy is closely associated with
the Czech composer Leoš Janáček, who was born here 3 July 1854, hence the
lyre on the flag. The flag was adopted 15 Jul 1993.

The fox is a reference to Janáček's opera "Příhody Lišky Bystroušky",
the Cunning Little Vixen.
