flag adopted 17 Oct 1997
The flag of the Czech village of Ivaň (South Moravian Region) has been
granted in 1997. It is red with three white squares, one in the canton,
one in the center of a flag, and one in the lower fly. In other words,
the squares form a diagonal stripe from upper hoist to lower fly (their
lengths correspond to 1/3 of flag length). I went back to the official
description, and the white fields are there explicitly mentioned as "ctverce"
= squares (a*a).
