Description: quartered by a Scandinavian-style cross blue and white; in the (blue) canton a white toptriangle charged with a black wing on a red claw.
The coat of arms is at this webpage: it's the canton, described above.
In the scenic landscape of the Český Smaragd micro-region, on the confluence
of the rivers Želivka and Sázava, you will find the village of Soutice
that was first mentioned in historical annals at the end of the 1200's.
In the centre of the village stands the Church of St James the Great, a
Romanesque-Gothic structure. The local small chateau once entertained the
famous opera singer Ema Destinnová and the surrounding unspoiled landscape
enchanted the writer O. Pavel and the composer L. Huřík who wrote a composition
entitled Soutická polka for the village.
