"La bandera municipal fue creada por la señora Isabel
Guzmán de Guacaneme el 24 de octubre de 1999; el escudo fue
diseñado por Alirio Barbosa el mismo día; el himno municipal
fue escrito y creado en 1998 por Fabriciano Téllez Tarquino; los
símbolos patrios del municipio de Palocabildo fueron adoptados
mediante el Acuerdo No. 032 de noviembre 13 de 1999. La bandera
consta de dos franjas en sentido horizontal, una franja superior
de color verde que representa el espíritu agrícola de esta
región y una blanca que representa la paz, unión y progreso de
los habitantes de la región; en su parte central lleva un grano
de Café, recogiendo así en su bandera el cultivo predominante
de la zona."
