Belén is a municipality in the Nariño Department. It was
founded in1885 as part of La Cruz,
and became a municipality on 20 January 1956.
The flag of Belén is horizontally divided yellow over green. In
the center there is a device ("cuero", leather). In one
image there is only this
device and in another
there is also a coffee bean ("pepa de café") in its
center.
