Sitionuevo is a municipality in Magdalena department. It was
founded on 1 January 1751 by Fernando de mier y Guerra. It became
a municipality in 1848.
The flag of Sitionuevo is
in 1:2 ratio, horizontally divided celeste-white-celeste and
charged with green(?) sun with eight rays in its center.
