Information in Spanish as follows:
"Esta formada por un rectángulo de 1.80m de largo por 1.40
m más grande o más pequeña, este rectángulo esta dividido en
4 partes, así: un trapecio o isósceles formado entre el asta y
una cuarta ( ¼ ) parte horizontal de color central amarillo y
que cubre toda la parte izquierda de la bandera de color blanco.
En la parte superior, hay un rectángulo trapecio en forma
horizontal, de 40 cms de ancho y llevara el color verde selva en
el centro, ocupando las ¾ partes horizontales, se formara un
rectángulo de 60 cms de ancho y de color amarillo oro, la parte
inferior esta formada por otro rectángulo trapecio horizontal de
40 cms de ancho de color azul rey.
El espacio en blanco representa la pureza, honradez sinceridad,
vigilancia, elocuencia, y firmeza de la gente que habita el
Municipio.
El color verde simboliza la actividad agrícola que predomina en
todo el Municipio, la bondad la esperanza, respeto, amistad y
servicio que la gente demuestra al visitante.
El color amarillo simboliza la riqueza intelectual, materia
religiosa, y la nobleza de todos sus hijos.
El color azul denota la grandeza, sabiduría, y riqueza aurífera
existente en nuestro Municipio."
