I have just received from the Government of Cundinamarca a
book that deals with on the shields and flags of this department.
This book is called "Shields, Flags and Hymns of
Cundinamarca", written by Rosalba Salazar Gallo for the
Secretariat of Culture of Cundinamarca.Here is the flag of
Yacopí (in Rionegro Province).The colors are white and orange.

"Compuesta por el color naranja y el color blanco, que
reflejan cada uno el amor y apego a su ancestral pasado.
Lleva dos franjas de igual dimensión.
La primera en color blanco, que simboliza la tranquilidad y
esperanza, reflejadas en un color que denota la pureza y el amor
hacia un pueblo sufrido y guerrero que ha luchado y contribuido a
la paz.
El color naranja evoca la fertilidad, colorido y diversidad de su
tierra, la que en toda su extensión contribuye al desarrollo de
su gente."
