I have just received from the Government of Cundinamarca a
book that deals with on the shields and flags of this department.
This book is called "Shields, Flags and Hymns of
Cundinamarca", written by Rosalba Salazar Gallo for the
Secretariat of Culture of Cundinamarca. Here is the flag of
Supatá (Gualivá Province).

"Consta de dos franjas horizontales, cada una de sesenta
centímetros de ancho y dos metros de largo, en colores verde y
amarillo, tienen la siguiente significación.
Color verde: es la franja superior, ella representa la
productividad y fertilidad de los campos de actividad agrícola,
también la esperanza de los supatenos, frente al desarrollo de
su municipio.
Color amarillo: en la franja inferior, manifiesta la riqueza de
sus campos, de sus tierras y también la riqueza de su gente de
profundos valores morales y espirituales."
