Once, while visiting in Girardot city, I have seen the
original colors of the La Calera's flag in an uniform of the
Municipal Band of La Calera. The colors are Orange, Emerald
Green and Dark Gray.

"Compuesta por tres franjas de iguales proporción, con los
colores; rojo, blanco y verde.
Se conjugan en estos colores la sangre de los antepasados, la
paz, tranquilidad y la fertilidad de su naturaleza.
La primera franja de color rojo. Simboliza fuerza, amor y la
sangre de nuestros antepasados.
Segunda franja de color Blanco. Representa tranquilidad, pureza,
honestidad, paz.
Tercera franja de color verde. La fertilidad de su campo y la
esperanza de sus habitantes.
En el centro lleva el escudo del municipio."
