"Es una representación de la estratégica ubicación de El
Rosal, localizado en un cruce de caminos que ha traído progreso
y desarrollo a la región.
Bandera rectangular con tres colores: rojo, verde y blanco. El
blanco forma una cruz acostada y recargada hacia la parte
inferior e izquierda, dividiéndola en cuatro partes con
diferentes proporciones y colores.
Parte superior izquierda, de color verde. La superior derecha,
color rojo. Inferior izquierda, roja e inferior derecha, verde.
El rojo es la dinámica y fuerza del municipio, el verde es la
riqueza y fertilidad de su suelo. El blanco la pureza,
transparencia, justicia y tranquilidad en su territorio y su
gente.
