"De forma cuadrilonga, paralelogramo rectángulo en tres
colores, los que son tres triángulos equiláteros sobrepuestos
con el siguiente significado:
Rojo; la sangre vertida por los antepasados Panches en sus
batallas libradas frente a los espanoles.
Blanco; representa el emporio de paz que es el territorio de
Cachipay.
Verde; la riqueza ecológica y agrícola de la región.
Sobre el centro del color verde una estrella de cinco puntas en
color amarillo, simboliza la riqueza cultural y los 100 anos de
fundación del municipio, en cada centenario se agregará otra
estrella igual."
