Méndez. The flag has a blue isoceles triangle with the apex
placed in the upper left corner of the flag and a green isoceles
triangle with the apex placed in the lower right corner of the
flag. The two triangles delimit a diagonal stripe from lower left
to upper right corner, in the middle of which is placed a red
star. The motto on the shield border reads "Fradernidad y
Paz", i.e. "Fraternity and Peace". I suppose
"Agua de Dios" means "God's Water", since the
background of the shield seems to be rather aquatic. Something
must be written on the white scroll placed inside the shield.
Agua de Dios is at Alto Magdalena (Upper Magdalena) Province,
Cundinamarca.

"Compuesta por tres franjas diagonales de un mismo ancho. La
parte superior izquierda de color azul. La parte central de color
blanco, con una estrella de color rojo. La parte derecha inferior
de color verde.
Sus colores significan lo siguiente:
Azul: inteligencia, verdad de la inmortalidad, recogimiento,
riqueza espiritual.
Blanco: la paz que todos desean. Fue el color distintivo de los
patriotas desde México hasta el Cabo de Hornos.
La estrella roja: la luz que ilumina los caminos. Vida, poder,
fuerza, arrogancia.
Verde: la relación del hombre con la naturaleza, la frescura de
su campo, esperanza y primavera, deseo de superación."
