Azul Marino: Hace honor a los rios Caguán, Guayas, Suncillas y Anayá; riquezas Naturales de la Región los cuales permiten vínculos de comunicación y progreso.
Morado: Color que representa la flor nacional; la orquídea que abunda en la laguna del Chairá, lugar turístico cercano a la población que toma este nombre CHAIRÁ, que significa "madriguera de Tigres" según la leyenda nativa de la Región."
