"La Bandera - Conformada por dos fajas rectangulares
concéntricas, una externa, de color blanco, y otra interna, de
color verde.
Dentro de la faja interna se puede admirar una llama ardiente. La
faja blanca, que sirve de entorno a la faja interior , simboliza
la pureza de todas las acciones realizadas por las gentes y el
horizonte despejado que siempre favorece a nuestro pueblo en el
camino hacia el progreso.
La franja verde de la bandera, significa los productos básicos
de la economía: café, caña de azúcar, así como también la
gran variedad de flora existente en el municipio."
