Tibasosa is a municipality in the Colombian Department of
Boyacá, part of the the subregion of the Sugamuxi Province. It
was founded on 19 December 1778.
The flag of Tibasosa is horizontally divided green-white-red.
Information in Spanish:
"La primer franja de color verde por el panorama del
artístico y amplio valle de Tibasosa.
La franja central blanca que significa el amor al trabajo y
afición a las bellas artes.
Por último una franja roja en honor a la sangre vertida en los
patíbulos por las ilustres damas y caballeros granadinos en pro
de la independencia nacional".
