Chivatá is a municipality in the Colombian Department of
Boyacá, part of the the subregion of the Central Boyacá
Province. It was founded on 5 March 1556 by Pedro Bravo de
Rivera.
The flag of Chivatá is horizontally divided (inner ratio 2:1:1)
green-white-yellow and charged with a blue six points star on the
white stripe.
