"La Bandera del Municipio es rectangular y con franjas del
mismo tamaño, con lo cual significamos la justicia y la equidad
como elementos sobre los que se orientan los destinos de nuestra
patria chica. Los colores naranja arriba y verde abajo, indican
organización, desarrollo y prosperidad, e identifican al
departamento de Antioquia, con valores como: Libertad, esperanza
en el futuro, civismo, fertilidad y sentido de pertenencia hacia
la región, respectivamente."
