The source for the flag image is a page section of an official Antioquia
Department website, now 404, back then at
http://www.gobant.gov.co/gobierno/narinoabejorral.htm#ABEJORRAL.
It's still archived and there is a
flag image (the only flag-related info).
It is a 1:2 "czech-style" flag with a red square angle hoist triangle on a
yellow over green equal horizontal diband. New image created with anti-aliasing,
corrected triangle, and standard green.
"Abejorral" can be interpreted as Spanish for "place of bumblebees", but
no reference to it in the flag design.
António Martins-Tuválkin, 05 February 2016
As Antonio correctly states, Abejorral is derived from a "place of bumblebees"
and even though no reference is made on the flag, it is made on the
coat of arms which has several bees in it. It was presented by Presbyter
Julio César Jaramillo on April 18, 1961. As for the flag, it was a request made
by the local Sociedad de Mejoras Públicas (SMP, Society of Public Works).

If the flag was designed by me, it would have this flag.
