Admiral's Standard

The Yang Tseu fleet was commanded by Tseng Kuo-fan and Li Houng-chang, which were part of the Army of the Green Flag. The Admiral of the fleet used a green ensign with the Imperial dragon flag in canton.

The Commodore of 1st class of the fleet used a similar, but asymmetrically
swallow-tailed ensign. The steamers of the fleet was used to carry troops to
Hou-Nan. In 1865, the fleet was transformed into an auxiliary force attached to
the Army.
