The Association was established in 1931. The current flag was introduced in 1960.

The club was established in 2016 through the merger of Schützengesellschaft Unterägeri,
Schützengesellschaft Oberägeri, and Schützengesellschaft am Morgarten (est. 1913).
The year 1662 on the new flag (introduced in 2019) refers to the earliest reference of shooting in Oberägeri
(website).
