Azure (from the sinister) a wall embattled a gate tower ajouré and a taller tower conjoined Argent
(the latter two roofed Gules) in base a barrulet wavy of the Second surmounted by steps Or.

The depicted gate is the former Rennweg Gate, which was part of the city fortifications on the left bank of the Limmat. It was teared down in 1865 (Painting from 1812, source).
